The author reised important issues of the European Union law. The issues raisen in the monograph certailny increase the knowledge of the prohibition of discrimination on the ground of age withing the meaning od DIrective 2000/78/EC of 27 November 2000 establishing a general framework for equal treatment in occupation. The value itself is a selective ordering of the case law of the EU Court of Justice in the discussed matter. In addition, the monograph is characterized by high quality of the research workshop.
