ABOUT THE BOOK
The goal of Learn Polish Through Stories is to familiarise learners with real-life, everyday Polish. The book includes stories about the adventures of foreigners in Poland.
While the stories are fictional, they occur in real places throughout Poland that you may recognise. In the margins of the text you can find selected words and phrases translated into English. We are aware of the fact that Polish pronunciation can be challenging, so we have included a direct link (as well as a QR code) to the audio recordings of the stories (at two speeds: slow and natural). Read, listen, study, practise and have a good time with the characters in our book!
WHO IS THIS BOOK FOR?
This book is for those who would like to learn new Polish words in a more fun way than going through typical coursebooks, especially if you have already studied a bit of Polish and know at least some basic vocabulary.
In the case of teachers, it can be a useful resource to help spice up the classes. The book is most suitable for levels A1-B1.
